I refuse this life. I refuse this legacy. I will not become a wolf-killer.

-Reluctant hood

An urban fantasy retelling of the Little Red Riding Hood fairy tale in six acts. SERIES NOW COMPLETE.

Humans think Little Red Riding Hood is nothing more than a fairytale, but the hoods know better. They despise the woman who committed the darkest sin one of their kind can: falling in love with a werewolf and becoming his mate. The fairy tale didn’t end the way you’ve been told. Unless you’ve heard the version in which Little Red was roasted on a silver spit over a fire, that is.
Geri almost walked down that same path. Not surprising, seeing as she is the namesake of her infamous ancestor. But in losing the werewolf she loved, she also realized the kind of person she truly wanted to be. So, she turned her back on her heritage and denied her birthright. She will not hate werewolves just because they’re werewolves. She will not train to contain them, dominate them, and if driven to it, kill them. In fact, she refuses to be a hood at all.

And that was going great, until an English werewolf on the run crosses her path…
